Should I go for the .co.uk or the .com if it is available?

I am starting a small business in the UK. Should I get the .co.uk domain or go for the .com? I ask because I can get a discount at GoDaddy for the .com but not the .co.uk. Would the .co.uk be better for a UK business? http://bit.ly/nHJrwl
