Do Companies that give bad credit personal loans allowed to ask for a couple months payment up front?

I applied for a bad credit perosnal loan online. A company called Birchmount Lending called stating i was approved for 5000.00, with monthyl payments of 224.54 for 2 years. But since my credit wasnt the best i would have to give them 4 payments upfront. Tell me what you think http://bit.ly/oMj96J
